Jesus personally gave Peter the keys to the kingdom. Why argue the point with that. Peter understood who Jesus was and is. A simple minded man like Peter understood. Why can't you understand? Peter did not deny the deity of God he understood who Jesus was and is.That Jesus was and is the Father,and the Son,and the Holy Ghost. That Jesus is God. Any argument with that would be with God and not with man. To argue with God you lose. End of argument. Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them,Repent,and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
